Convention

Well here we go, Century 21 Convention 2012! Woke up this morning at 5:30 to hop in the shower to get all set for our flight at 8:15. My wife, Mandee – AKA @valleyreagent to the twitter world, and I have been waiting for this trip for months. We attended the National Association of Realtors Convention in November of 2010 located in none other than New Orleans. This great city quickly stole our hearts as we soaked up as much RE info as we could. As we are flying to good ole NOLA as I type, we think of food, libation, cigars, great friends, and the fantastic seminars we will be in over the next 4 days.

Question 1 – Why Do I Go?
Question 2 – What do I hope to achieve this year?
Question 3 – When will I be home so you can set up showings? lol

Answer 1 – There are so many reasons to go to this Great Company’s(Century 21) conventions. They do a great job of putting together top notch speakers and presenters for very relevant topics. These classes teach me to better serve you, my clients, in so many ways. New technology, new ways to advertise and market your home, and new ways to cope with new and difficult trends in the market such as short sales. Now don’t get me wrong, Century 21 always does a great job of picking venues that we, as agents, will not be upset with haha. Last year we enjoyed convention in the very wholesome LAS VEGAS, and now we head to NOLA. As soon as I get back I will go though all of my emails, contacts, contracts, and voicemails to make sure I am up to date with my clients, but I must admit I will also need a confession w my priest and a new liver lol.

Answer 2 – To achieve business goals should ALWAYS be the number 1 reason to go to convention. My goals for this convention will be 3 fold and as follows….

1. To find the next big venue to advertise my property listings to increase exposure and sell them quicker for more money.

2. Learn some new recruiting tips to identify great agents in my market place and have them join our Gold Standard company and help them increase their business at least 50% in the next 12 months.

3. Take some investment classes to learn the new trending formulas for flips and multi unit investments to help my clients that invest through me. Lets make 2012 a great and profitable year!

Answer 3 – Don’t worry guys, I will be available via Phone/Txt/Email/FB/Twitter and LinkedIn. I will physically be back in the Lehigh Valley late Wed, and back in the office Thurs morning. If you need me just reach out and we will organize for next week. Love you guys, and I will talk to you soon!
